GALERIE Junger

A new, high quality forum for contemporary art was added to the Berlin art scene with the opening of GALERIE Junger in April 2005.

The gallery is ensconced within the centrally-situated Hotel NH Berlin-Mitte near Friedrichstraße and is conveniently linked to the capital’s main transportation network making it an ideal spot for the citizens of Berlin and visitors alike to gather and relax in the city. A strategic partnership with the NH Berlin-Mitte allows members of the public to visit GALERIE Junger 24 hours daily.

The exhibition area in the center of the hotel provides both gallery and hotel guests a pleasant meeting place and offers a professional presentation forum for artists. It is also the prefect showcase of how art can be integrated into the hotel projects of Walter Junger & Friends, Ltd.

The gallery is led by Lori L. Lee. It aims to support and develop a new generation of talented artists, in addition to its portfolio of established, international artists. Whether it is art installations, oil painting, photography, painting with wine or much more - GALERIE Junger does not limit itself to any specific genre/media but focuses mainly on contemporary works.

Besides art exhibitions and sales, the team also works on art leasing, art-themed events and art concept and programme development for hotels, restaurants and other commercial projects in addition to work for private art collections. The gallery currently represents over 30 artists in Europe with a focus on the artistic development within Austria and Germany.
